Together, we will pick a fishing location that will give you the experience that you are looking for, as well as match your skill and experience level to show you the fishing trip of a lifetime. We provide transportation from your doorstep to the water, all equipment and tackle necessary to land that giant, and drinks and lunch on full day trips. We want you to be as much part of the planning as you would like.
Brooklyn Outfitter was started in 2010 right here in Steamboat Springs, CO. We started in a little fishing house, in a neighborhood called Brooklyn Park on the west bank of the Yampa River. We like to keep a tight knit crew, as you can probably tell, with only 4 full time guides. Despite the small team, we have over 80 collective years of fishing experience and are a crew of layed back fun loving guys that love to fish and have a good time.
Guide/General Manager - Torre Saterstrom has been an avid fly fisherman since childhood and has been guiding in and around Steamboat for the past 5 years. After obtaining a degree in Natural Resource Management from Colorado State University in 2009, Torre moved to Steamboat Springs to pursue his ideal lifestyle in the outdoors and has since made that lifestyle his career.
Guide - Charlie was born and raised right here in Steamboat Springs and has been guiding in the valley for the past 5 years
Guide - Adrian was born and raised here in Steamboat Springs and has grown up fishing the yampa and surrounding river systems. He also spends part of the year in the Pacific Northwest guiding and fishing for steelhead.
